Toyota Tsusho's Social Contribution Activities
We actively support the social participation and independence of people with disabilities.
Toyota Tsusho is not only in the position of receiving welfare for people with disabilities, but also actively trying to create welfare. We sympathize with the stance of promoting this, and actively support the social participation and independence of people with disabilities. We also cooperate in the operation of various events with the aim of promoting a society that accepts diversity.
Volunteer for Tajimi monastery wine festival
In 2015, the social welfare corporation "AJU Self-reliance House" opened Komaki Winery to grow grapes and make wine so that people can live in their own way in the community. This event is held in November every year as a place to announce the results of our efforts. Admission fees and wine sales revenues are paid as wages for the disabled colleagues working at Komaki Winery and Tajimi Monastery. Our company and group employees have been participating as volunteers since 2008.
Holding an in-house sales event at a support facility for people with disabilities
Since 2016, we have been holding a sales event four times a year at our Nagoya head office with the aim of supporting the bread and confectionery manufacturing and sales activities of the social welfare corporation Yotsuba no Kai, which operates in Nagoya. .In addition, Yotsuba no Kai participated in the "Nippon Domannaka Festival," which we also sponsor, and supported the dance activities on the day as a volunteer. Going forward, we will continue to support the active participation in society by support facilities for people with disabilities.
