Campaign to deliver picture books to children in Asia

Since 2007, we have been participating in the "Picture book delivery campaign" sponsored by the Shanti International Volunteer Association (Public Corporation).
This movement is an activity in which stickers translated into local languages are pasted on Japanese picture books and delivered to children in Asia who do not yet know the books. In fiscal 2022, 360 employees of our company and group companies participated and completed 400 picture books.
It seems that by working together with children, it is also an opportunity for families to think about children around the world.
The picture books were sent to Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Afghanistan, and Nepal to children who had never read a picture book for various reasons, such as conflict, poverty, and national systems.
We will continue to support international education in the future.
