Lifting and lowering 12kg,
1000 times a day.
ISE Foods is a business partner of Toyota Tsusho and a capital alliance partner. The egg that everyone lifts with one hand is not so in the factory. Each pallet on the line weighs 10 kg. The work of loading pallets brought by forklifts onto the line is done manually, and each person has to do this 1,000 times a day. Is it possible to somehow reduce the harsh work? A consultation was brought to Suzumura, the sales representative of Toyota Tsusho. At first, they considered a plan to install special equipment on the line to automate the raising and lowering of egg pallets, but it was too expensive. As an alternative, a German-made power assist suit worn by a person was also considered, but this is also not cost-effective. When Suzumura returned to his company and consulted with people around him, he received information that JTEKT, a group company, had a similar power assist suit. Easy to install and operate, and affordable. First of all, it was carried out by leasing.
“Ise Foods has 11 packing factories nationwide. Lifting and lowering pallets is hard work that only young men can do at any site.I wanted to do something to change this situation. We can't deliver it to dining tables all over the country if we don't put it on.We really deal in all kinds of products and products, so we're sure to find a solution." The answer was near. JTEKT's power assist suit "J-PAS series" is a suit that supports the movement of getting up, reducing the burden on the waist when lifting heavy products and equipment at manufacturing sites such as factories. In Japanese society, where about 80% of occupational accidents are said to be "lower back pain", and with the working population decreasing due to the declining birthrate and aging population, even elderly people and women will be able to work easily. J-PAS is expected to help solve social issues.
There is definitely.
Near.

Toyotsu Logistics × JTEKT
This is “Shokon” (A passion for business),
synchronicity.
At the same time, Toyotsu Logistics was also entering a period of change. As with Ise Foods, rapid automation and IoT are progressing at logistics sites to compensate for the serious labor shortage. For example, a warehousing/dispatching/inventory system that utilizes RFID tags. It used to be difficult to introduce it to automobile parts, but by combining it with an AGV (automated guided vehicle), inventory taking that used to take eight hours can now be done in just one hour. The evolution of technology is remarkable, and at the same time it means new battles with competitors. I would like to pay attention to the synergistic effect in the group among several measures for that purpose.

We at the Toyotsu Group call it the ““Shokon” (A passion for business).”
I have an important mind.
“We, the Toyotsu Group, have an important mindset called '“Shokon” (A passion for business),'” says Toyotsu Logistics General Manager Monma. Based in the sales office in Tokyo, he travels around the country with group companies and customers to search for business tips. There are seeds of business here and there. Sometimes two seemingly unconnected things are connected and new businesses are born. There should be more things that can be connected in groups. The power assist suit "J-PAS series" manufactured by JTEKT mentioned above is one of them. In fact, Toyotsu Logistics is also a leasing and sales agency for this "J-PAS". Prior to that, Toyota Tsusho introduced "J-PAS" to Ise Foods, which is an episode that expresses “Shokon” (A passion for business) that flows through the Toyota Tsusho Group. "J-PAS" has just been introduced at the Ishioka factory of ISE Foods, but if it can be introduced to factories nationwide in the future, the speed of business growth will further accelerate. Toyotsu Logistics will take care of that. While actually introducing it at our own factory, we made proposals beyond the framework of our own business, such as not only logistics sites but also agriculture, forestry, and nursing care sites, because it is an important mission to contribute to society through business. We plan to go there,” says Director Monma, who has great expectations and senses the potential of the “J-PAS Series.” Not limited to the "J-PAS series", we will propose anything that reduces the burden on the companies involved, such as the ZMP logistics support robot "CarriRo". What if we could create a spiral of growth by putting the assets and products of our group companies into the logistics business and proposing them? At the center of this is Toyotsu Logistics.

TRANSPORT
YOU FURTHER
In 2019, Toyotsu Logistics also raised a new slogan. Farther, deeper. Promoting business with the power of logistics. Technology that requires people to use AI, IoT, and all types of automation. The important thing is that each person has a strong will to "think and act" in the first person. Rather than outsourcing the slogan to an advertising agency, I decided on this phrase from an internal public offering. strong individual gather, become a strong body, and a tide is born.
"TRANSPORT YOU FURTHER" This slogan includes
Not only the business, but also the meaning of evolving yourself further.
